How much does prescription delivery cost?

Local delivery is free. You still pay for your medicines as you normally would, whether that is the PBS co-payment amount or the private price, but there is no additional charge for having them delivered.

The Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme sets the co-payment amounts for subsidised medicines, and these are the same whether you collect in store or have your order delivered.

Who is prescription delivery useful for?

People who work during pharmacy hours. Our hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 6:30pm and weekends 9:00am to 2:00pm. If those hours are difficult to work around, delivery is an alternative.

Older people and anyone with limited mobility. A trip to the pharmacy is not always straightforward. Delivery means regular medicines arrive without the journey.

Carers managing medicines for someone else. If you are looking after a family member and already coordinating appointments and supplies, one less pickup helps.

Yes. If you use our Webster packing service, also known as a dose administration aid, your weekly pack can be delivered rather than collected. Collecting a pack every week is not always practical, and delivery removes that trip.
